By phone

To bid by phone dial 0845 270 1382.

The phone service is available 24 hours a day and is available in the following languages: English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Kurdish, Polish, Portugese, Punjabi, Somali, and Urdu.

 

Before you call

You'll need to have the following information before you try to use the phone service:

  • Your HomeChoice reference number (this is on the letter we sent to you when you were accepted on to the Housing Register)
  • Your date of birth
  • The reference number of the property you want to bid for (you can find this on the property listing)

 

What can you do over the phone

You can use the phone service to bid for property and review or withdraw your current bids.

You won't be able to hear property details using the phone service so you'll need to browse the property listings on this website first.

 

At a Citizen Service Point

If you don't have internet access and you're unable to use the phone service then you can also bid online using the self service kiosks at any one of the council's Citizen Service Points.
