The information you provide will be recorded on a computer system and is covered by the provisions of the Data Protection Act. You are entitled to see the information you have provided.

Bristol City Council has a duty to protect the public funds it administers and may use the information you have provided to obtain housing with this authority for the prevention and detection of fraud. It may also share this with other bodies administering public funds solely for these purposes.

I/we understand that the Council can check against any records to identify if the Council or any other landlord has previously had any cause to take action against you for antisocial behaviour or any other breaches of tenancy.

I/we understand that I/we will be required to provide proof of identification and proof of address for all adults on the application and proof of receipt of child benefit for all dependant children listed on the application at the point at which an offer of a property is made and I/we understand that failure to do so within the specified time will result in the offer being withdrawn.
