When you place a bid on a property through the website, your queue position will be shown. If you place a bid by telephone you will be told your queue position once you have confirmed your bid details. You can view your queue position at any time during the advertising cycle by logging into your account. Login/My account  Your position is likely to change during the cycle as other people place bids for the property. Therefore, you may decide to change your bids and bid for properties for which you are higher placed in the queue.

Information about properties that have been successfully let is published on the HomeChoice Bristol website and in the newsletter, which can be obtained from any of the Bristol City Council Customer Service Points. You can find out details about how many people bid for the property, and the band and priority date of the successful applicants by going to  Recent Lets.

This information will give you a better idea of how popular a particular property or area is and how long you would normally have to wait. You can then decide whether to look for other types of property or areas where you may not have to wait as long.
