The supply of social housing in Bristol is limited. Around 2300 properties become available each year and over 13,000 people are registered on the Housing Register.
With so many more applicants than vacancies, those on lower bands are unlikely to get a chance to make an offer on a house.
As of 16 December 2014 the weekly list of available properties is no longer provided in the Bristol Post newspaper. We've made this change because most people now choose to bid online.
If you don't have access to a computer you can go to your nearest library to use one.
If you're unable to access the internet or visit a library then call the HomeChoice Bristol team on 0117 9222400.
